As a player and generator of projects for its customers and markets, Sicame Group is involved in an innovation ecosystem with which we work in close collaboration.

This innovation ecosystem is made up of 5 types of players:

• Trade associations & standardization committees,
• Universities and research centers,
• Start-ups,
• Our customers and key suppliers,
• Associations and competitive clusters linked to the electrical industry and our businesses.

The latter are facilitators whose aim is to bring together public and private players, universities and research centers, and companies, and to catalyze the realization of innovative projects.

Launched in 2004, the competitiveness cluster initiative aims to mobilize the various players in an inter-regional ecosystem to develop competitiveness and innovation.

France currently boasts 54 competitive clusters, including S2E2, which was accredited in 2005. The cluster specializes in 4 specific fields: smart electrical networks, smart buildings, electrical systems for low-carbon mobility and electronics.

The S2E2 cluster brings together the major players in the energy sector in the Centre-Val de Loire, Pays de la Loire and Nouvelle Aquitaine regions.

As an active partner in the innovation ecosystem, Sicame Group continues its commitment to this cluster, notably through the investment of Pierre Willams, the Group's Innovation Director.

Elected vice-president of the cluster in charge of the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, he enables the Group to occupy a position of reference for the influence of the S2E2 cluster in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and to benefit from partnership opportunities in its strategic fields.

The S2E2 cluster is an operational cluster with a strong product/project focus. On a day-to-day basis, it supports companies by helping them to set up their projects at regional, national and European level, and to obtain the certification required to finance their projects.

For many years, Sicame Group has made innovation one of its founding values. Designed with our customers and the market in mind, innovation enables us to offer solutions and services that are increasingly adapted to the needs of our customers in the context of the energy transition.

To give concrete expression to our desire to be an active partner in this ecosystem, our Innovation Director Pierre Willams was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the S2E2 cluster as Vice-President in charge of the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. This confirms Sicame Group's determination to play a key role in innovation.
